The internet believes that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are moving to London after the cricketer’s retirement. After the victory parade in Mumbai on Thursday, Kohli immediately left for London to spend time with Anushka and their kids!
Ever since the birth of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s second child Akai Kohli, rumours have been flying that the couple is planning to move to London. After Virat Kohli finished the World Cup final and took a victory lap with Team India at Marine Drive, he left for London to be with Anushka and their kids Vamika and Akai. The cricketer has now announced his retirement from the T20 format as well and now the internet believes that the family might settle down in London permanently.
Akaay was born in London!
Anushka and Virat spent a lot of time in London before Akai was born and decided to deliver him there. After Akai was born, the couple spent almost two months in London and Virat returned to India for the World Cup and IPL. A few days later, Anushka was also spotted arriving in the country, but she asked people not to take pictures of Vamika and Akai.
The couple has been often spotted in London
Anushka and Virat are often spotted spending time in the city, shopping or eating out. Reports suggest that Kohli, who missed the India-England Test series, had flown to England for the birth of his second child. The 35-year-old was photographed in London a few days after her son was born, fuelling these rumours once again.
Having a normal life
A Reddit post some time back read, “Virat will likely stay in England as he is close to retirement. He has mentioned before that he likes living in Europe as most people don’t recognise him and it gives him a normal life.”
Able to move around freely with their kids
Both Virat and Anushka have always said that they are very simple in their lives and don’t like to be in the public spotlight all the time. They want to do normal things with their kids without anyone interfering all the time. Virat once said, “We are not in the country. It has been an amazing experience for me and my family – feeling normal for two months. I couldn’t thank God enough for the opportunity to spend time with my family, to be on the road without any other person.
