Indigo, Spicejet Cancel Flights
IndiGo Airlines has reportedly cancelled all flights to and from Delhi airport’s Terminal 1, which has been partially shut due to heavy rains.
“Passengers already inside the terminal will be able to board their scheduled flights, but passengers whose flights are scheduled later will be offered alternate flights,” the airline said in a statement.
The airline also said that operations across the network have been affected due to this unplanned situation.
It added, “Customers are advised to monitor and confirm their flight status before leaving for the airport.”
SpiceJet said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that flights have been cancelled as T1 will remain partially closed for operations until further notice.
Terminals have been allocated to airlines for all arriving and departing flights.
Arrivals and departures of all SpiceJet flights (planned for Terminal 1) are allocated to Terminal 3. For Indigo, all arrivals and departures (planned for Terminal 1) are being distributed between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.
