Under this scheme, the children of workers will be given stipend so that they can continue their studies without any hindrance. Purpose of Chand Ravidas Education Assistance Scheme 2024
The main objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the children of workers so that they do not have any interruption in their education and they can continue their studies from school to university. Financial assistance ranging from ₹ 100 to ₹ 5000 will be provided under this scheme.
On securing 70% marks in high school and intermediate examinations, boys will be given a lump sum amount of ₹5000 and girls will be given ₹8000. On securing 60% marks in graduation and post-graduation examinations, a total amount of ₹10000 for boys and ₹12000 for girls will be provided. Children of workers will be given subsidy to buy bicycles to go to school from class 9 to 12.

- Children eligible for Chand Ravidas Education Assistance Scheme benefits should be below 25 years of age as on 1st July every year.
- This scheme is only for those students who have not availed any other government scholarship scheme. For this, a declaration form will also be taken from the students.
- Students availing this scheme must have a minimum attendance of 60%.
- ₹8000 per month for engineering and medical postgraduate courses and ₹12000 per month for research in other subjects, where the maximum age limit is 35 years.
- Maximum two children of a family can avail the benefit of this scheme.
- The beneficiary children must be studying in an educational institution recognized by the Central or State Government.
- To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is mandatory for the registered construction worker to be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- Students are billed on a quarterly basis, with the first installment disbursed upon admission to the class.
- If a student fails in the exam then he/she will not get the benefit of this scheme.
- Only students studying in government medical colleges can avail the benefits of this scheme under medical courses.
