NEET Scam: The central government has also handed over the responsibility of investigating the NEET paper leak case to the CBI. Apart from this, the Economic Offenses Unit of Bihar Police is also investigating the case.
NEET Paper Leak News: Till now, Bihar and Gujarat connection was being mentioned in the NEET paper leak case, because many people have been detained from both the states. However, now Maharashtra connection has also come to the fore in the NEET scam. In the paper leak case, Nanded ATS has detained two teachers from Latur, Maharashtra. Of the two detained teachers, one is said to be working in Latur and the other in Solapur.
Both are teachers in Zilla Parishad schools. Both are being thoroughly investigated by Nanded ATS. The Nanded ATS team raided two places in Latur district, after which both the Zilla Parishad teachers have been detained. The names of the detained teachers are Sanjay Tukaram Jadhav and Jalil Umarkhan Pathan. ATS suspects that both the teachers are involved in the NEET paper leak case. CBI is also investigating the NEET paper leak case.
Both The Teachers Teach in Private Coaching Centers in Latur
In fact, a large number of students prepare for JEE and NEET in Latur district. This is the reason why there are many private coaching centers in the district. Therefore, the police suspect that the strings of the NEET paper leak case are connected to Latur. On the basis of suspicion, both the teachers were detained on Saturday (22 June) night and now they are being questioned. Both the detained teachers run private coaching classes in Latur.
ATS Took Action on Delhi Police’s Alert
It has been learnt that Nanded ATS was alerted by Delhi Police. After that ATS took action and detained both of them. Now ATS is going to question them about the paper leak. They can also be questioned about their relations with the accused arrested in Bihar and Gujarat.
Arrests Made in Bihar-Gujarat for Paper Leak and Cheating
In fact, the Economic Offenses Unit of Bihar Police has arrested 13 people including mastermind Sikandar Yadavendu in connection with the paper leak. Question papers have also been recovered from the accused’s flat. The police are also preparing for narco test and brain mapping of the accused. The government believes that the paper leak case in Bihar is local. Similarly, the government has denied the talk of paper leak in Godhra, Gujarat.
The education minister has said that the Gujarat case is not a leak. The police took precautionary action, some telephone conversations have been traced. 30 students who were found trying to cheat were denied the exam. Apart from this, 63 other students from across the country were denied the exam for using unfair means.
