5. Parents have two or fewer children and family planning is done after the birth of the second child. Without family planning, the benefit of the first born girl and the second born girl should be given to the parents who follow family planning.
6. In families with a maximum of two children, if one of the parents has died, the women of that family can register till the age of five. In such a case, if the woman or man already has two children from another marriage, then the girl child born from the second marriage will not get the benefit of the scheme.
7. Even if three women are together in the first delivery, all the three women will get the benefit of Ladli Laxmi Yojana.
8. Daughters born to female prisoners in jail will also benefit from this scheme.
9. The daughter or daughters born to the rape victim will also get the benefit of this scheme.
10. In families who do not adopt family planning due to health reasons, the collector has been given the authority to approve the case for two years instead of one year.
11. Late received applications will be accepted or rejected by the District Collector after thorough scrutiny under special cases.
12. The application should be made by the superintendent of the orphanage or protection home within one year of her admission into the orphanage and before the girl child attains the age of five years or within one year from the date of adoption by the foster parents.
