BJP MPs chanted Jai Shriram as Uwaisi was invited to take oath
New Delhi: AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Uwaisi raised the slogans of Jai Bheem, Jai Meem, Jai Telangana, Jai Palestine and Allahu Akbar after taking oath as a member of the Lok Sabha. He took oath as MP for the fifth time on Tuesday.
As Uwaisi was invited to take oath, BJP MPs chanted Jai Shri Ram slogans. Uwaisi’s oath began with verses from the Qur’an.
He later noted in X that he would continue to sincerely raise the issues of the marginalized in the country. In 2019, Owaisi ended his oath by saying Jai Bheem, Allahu Akbar, Jai Hind.
