Process to port from Jio Airtel to BSNL

To port from Jio or Airtel to BSNL you need to request for port by sending an SMS to 1900.

For this, you have to open the message box of your phone and write PORT in it and write your mobile number and send it to 1900.

After this you will receive a unique boarding code on SMS which is valid for 15 days after which you have to visit your nearest BSNL service center or authorized franchise retailer with this code.

After this, you will have to provide the boarding code, Aadhaar card and required information at the service center and give a new BSNL SIM.

Once the SIM porting is approved, you will be notified about the BSNL SIM porting date and time, after which your BSNL SIM card will be activated on the specified date and time.

As per the new rules of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, the waiting period to switch to a new telecom operator is 7 days, i.e. 7 days for SIM card porting.
