Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Luv Sinha deleted his post about Zakir Iqbal’s father, who the ED was investigating for being close to a politician, disappearing in a washing machine! Luv said he will not comment further on the matter!
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married on June 23 in Mumbai. The two got married in the presence of their family and close friends. The emotional video shared by Sonakshi left everyone spellbound! While Sonakshi’s parents were present, her brothers Luv and Kush Sinha were absent from her wedding. Her brother finally opened up by sharing an article. Luv wrote a paragraph from the article in ‘The Telegraph’, in which he said, “Obviously, one of the reasons for concern is the rumours about the groom’s antecedents.
No one pays attention to grey areas like the groom’s father’s proximity to a politician whose ED investigation disappeared in the “washing machine” along with carefully crafted news about his family business. It was rumoured that the groom’s father was in Dubai on work and it ended abruptly.”
She shared the article and wrote, “The reason why I did not join and why I did not interact is obvious. Some people are anything but. I am glad a member of the media did their research rather than relying on creative stories. A PR team was kept out.”
Meanwhile, she has now deleted her tweet about Zaheer’s father and said, “The alleged quote is not my statement, written in an article by a senior journalist. The matter is now closed and I will not comment on it.”
Amidst these tweets from her brother Luv, Sonakshi remains unaffected as she is busy spending some quality time with her husband Zaheer on their honeymoon. The actress dropped glimpses of the time spent together.
On the work front, Sonakshi’s next, ‘Kakuda’, a horror-comedy, is set for an OTT release. It stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem.
